The Ruler of Books Tag | A Bundle of Books

Hey, everyone! Today I am doing the Ruler of Books Tag, which was created by one of my favourite BookTubers, Ariel Bissett! Check out her video of this tag here (and also the rest of her videos because she is amazing). This book tag is all about the various “laws” that I would enforce if I were to have my own bookish kingdom (which is basically every reader’s dream, am I right?). I was not tagged by anyone to do this tag, but rest assured, I will be tagging some fellow bloggers myself! Now, time for the tag!

The Pastry Book Tag | A Bundle of Books

4After a few of weeks of not posting, I am finally back with a new tag – The Pastry Book Tag! I just got back to university and the workload is hectic, so sorry for the late post! I am so excited about this tag thought because of the way it uses pastries in order to create the questions! I was tagged by Aimal over at Bookshelves & Paperbacks. Thank you for tagging me! Make sure you check out her blog because I kinda-sorta love it 😛 Let’s get into the tag!

City of Bones

I never intended on reading Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series because of all the hype surrounding it. The concept also didn’t sound very interesting to me in the beginning. But when I heard that there was a TV show in the works about a year ago, I decided to give the series a shot. And now? I’m in love with it! I really like the TV show, but I might stop watching it for a while so that I can catch up in the series so that there aren’t any spoilers! I’ve only read the first book, but I definitely think that this series lives up to the hype so far!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY! Today I am doing my very first tag on my blog: THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BOOK TAG! This tag was created by Ashley at Falling Down The Book Hole and I was tagged by Joey at Thoughts and Afterthoughts. Thanks for tagging me!

This past week was quite hectic so it was pretty difficult to post, but I really wanted to do this tag and I thought that since today is finally Christmas that I would do it at last! I was tagged for so many other Christmas tags, but there wasn’t enough time. Maybe I can get to the other tags for Christmas next year. This tag has a ton of questions, but I am going to keep my answers as simple as possible so let’s get to it! 🙂

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me: A partridge in a pear tree.

The partridge stood alone in the pear tree. What is your favourite stand-alone?

Nineteen Eighty Four

I don’t really enjoy stand-alones enough to consider them favorites. I’m not usually satisfied after reading them because I always want more! But, Nineteen Eighty-Four would definitely be an exception. This book is everything I wanted it to be. It creeped me out, made me cry, made me question so much about the world, and had an ending I didn’t expect.
